8 Nautical Naturals

My favorite thing about the summer is the beach. I’d love nothing more than to one day own a beach house where I could decorate in a nautical theme! Upon perusing my latest catalogs, I managed to save my favorites for my inspiration files!

I love the color combo of blue and white, and these finds not only go great with blue and white, but any neutral tones…not to mention, they add a nice pop of color to any color scheme!

Perk up your outdoor patio with these vivid pillows! Heck, I’d even be tempted to bring them indoors too! Perhaps a bright and airy sunroom? Or a nice white living room? Which would you choose?

Stay tuned for a nautical follow-up! I’m on a sea-worthy roll!! Until next time!

    1. I love that pillow too! I love how vibrant the colors are, and being that they are outdoor pillows, I bet they'd hold up splendidly against my 2 year-old!! Thanks for stopping by!

  3. I don't care for the beach, but I still love nautical things. Weird right? I would love a pair of those giant wall crabs for a back patio!

    1. Up until about 3 years ago, I felt the same way about the beach!! I loathed the sand everywhere, but I discovered the pure joy of baby powder and sand is no longer my enemy!!

I do love those crabs!! They'd be a nice addition wouldn't they?!

  4. Yeah, I don't care for the beach either. I grew up in Minnesota where the beaches were kind of dirty. I was always scared of what I was walking on.

    YUCK.

But it is fun to go to port towns like Mystic or Provincetown. It's so fun and refreshing - and tons of things to do.

I do love your picks. I love the pillow - so fun!

Thanks for sharing and also for linking up with us at the plus party. I have added you and will add you on facebook and twitter if I can find links.

    1. Funny you mention dirty beaches! There is one beach here in Jersey that was very dirty at one point, but they've done an amazing job at cleaning it up!!

      Thanks again for stopping by!

    1. When you finish his room, I'd so love to see the pics! I've never been a real nautical fan, but for some reason, I'm itching to try this theme myself! I guess it's because we're moving to South Carolina one day and we'll be soooo close to the beach!!!
