Bloody Marys Count as a Salad

What's with the name?  We named it Bloody Mary’s Count as a Salad, because anything goes in this hop! Need to vent? Go for it! Need to say something snarky? DO IT!  Or do you just want to share your blog and/or a specific post?  We'd love to read it!  Anything you want to share, we want to see it!

And introducing a social aspect of the hop!  Each week we will feature a different social media linkup.  This week is Instagram!  Link up your blog in the first linkup and your Instagram profile page in the second linkup!

DIY Canvas Art Knock Off

Many moons ago (5 years to be accurate) I wanted to make my daughter's nursery elegant and girly and I had all the right stuff to do so, except the art work. Enter...knock off DIY canvas art!!

Now I don't consider myself an artist by any means...I'm not even good, but I'm capable, so I searched for the right art to fit her room decor and everything I fell in love with was so expensive!! So what's the next best thing to pricey artwork? A handmade knock off!!

I found five pieces that I adored, so I rolled up my sleeves, broke out the paints and got down and dirty! Sadly, only two of the five made it to completion and into her room! I managed to finish a third, while two still sit waiting for my finishing touches!!

12 Jewelry Organization Ideas

I have a nice little spot in my master closet that I had intentions of making into a jewelry display wall. However, since we will be moving soon, I figured this will be yet another undone project in my home!! I did manage to go out and purchase everything that I would need to make this functional little space, so as soon as I am able to get another fabulous place to live, that’ll be one of the first projects I tackle!!

Also, since I tend to change my mind like I change my clothes, I’ll keep on compiling my inspiration files in case I come across something even better!! My favorite color combo is blue and white. There is something very elegant about it. Fresh. Clean. Beautiful.

I've managed to turn my kitchen into a blue and white haven, and my living room is "getting there" in small steps. My goal is to one day have a blue and white masterpiece!

8 Beautiful Baths

There is nothing quite like a quiet, relaxing bubble bath...especially when it's complete with a glass of wine, dimmed lights, and candles. LOTS of candles!

What makes a bubble bath even more luxurious, you ask? An awesome bathroom!! Here are just some of my favorites. Maybe one day my house will have a bath as perfect as these!
